Despite the dry and challenging growing conditions this summer the fruit and veg exhibits were exceptional and there was an array of show stopping dahlias on display in the Village Hall.

Attendance was up by 15 percent and there was a slight increase in the number of entrants this year –
Always a lovely community occasion there’s a class for everyone  whatever your age, from garden produce to handicrafts, flower arranging to photography.  Sideshows included , Splat a Jack,  Golf, Roller ball and Bowling for a Pig (well a Sunday roast!)  East Woodhay Silver Band played  and the everyone enjoyed the refreshments and barbecue.
